I will be hosting a group of anglers during the week of May 7-14, 2011
at Andros South bonefish lodge (www.androssouth.com). I have been hosting
groups of anglers to destinations in the Bahamas, Montana, Venezuela and
Belize since 1998. This will be my 6th trip to Andros South, which offers
some of the best bonefishing in this part of the world. Fishing is from
flats skiffs (2 anglers per skiff) or wading, however all anglers will
have private rooms at the lodge. If you don't have a fishing partner,
you can sign up as a single and you will paired with another angler to
fish. Anglers and guides are rotated throughout the week.
Cost is $3950 per angler for 7 nights/6 days of fishing or $2250 for 4
nights/3 days of fishing. A 50% payment is due 180 days out (Nov. 7) and
the balance is due 30 days out. Money received within 180 days of the
trip is non refundable. Trip insurance is recommended at an approximate
cost of $200. Global Rescue medical evacuation insurance is now included
in the cost of the lodge.
Recommended travel is with Watermakers Air out of Ft. Lauderdale. We will
travel together as a group from Ft. Lauderdale. Cost for airfare with
Watermakers is $535. If traveling from outside Florida, you may also travel
through Nassau to Congotown via Western Air. The only other costs are
gratuities for guides and staff and incidentals along the way (baggage
handlers, etc). Food, lodging, guided fishing and alcohol are included.
